Flooded Cellar Productions was formed in 2002 by Declan McCormack and Sue Price. Their aim was to produce films that focused on the developing world.

Consultancies for international organisations and social enterprises working in and for the Global South have included media campaigns, public awareness and funding drives, advocacy and communications training, knowledge management production, video production training, and documentary production for broadcasters including CNN, DW-TV, Al-Jazeera, RAI among many others.

Assignments in 2010 & 2011 saw a number of productions for the EU's Food Facility, a €1 billion short term project aimed at reinforcing food security for 50 of the world's most vulnerable nations. We followed developments in seven African countries: Benin, Burundi, Ghana, Madagascar, Mali, Mozambique and Senegal. Productions in Qatar and Nepal followed in 2012 plus a collaboration with Cornell University's world leading SRI unit. In 2013, shoots in Uganda, India and Spain provided material for the 50th Anniversary of the Codex Alimentarius, a partnership between the UN's FAO and WHO. In 2014 & 2015 work on the linkage between food security and food safety included reports from Bangladesh, the Cook Islands and Honduras.
