Flooded Cellar Productions was formed in 2002 by Declan McCormack and Sue Price. In the 15 years since then, we have covered a broad range of issues for international agencies, governments, NGOs and social enterprises.

Our work has been broadcast on international and national news channels, shown at high level international conferences and used in workshops, media packages, on UNTV, for C4D university modules and for instruction at grassroots. We have produced material in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Lao, Nepalese, Malagasy and Kirundi.

Project managed all video output for FAO & WHO's Codex Alimentarius's 50th Anniversary.
This included animations, news reports which aired globally, videos which were aired in the plenary meetings, material for the website and long form TV documentaries for Uganda, India and Spain - three of the locations where we filmed. Plus production of all UN language versions.

2012
International Conference For Food Security in Dry Lands in Qatar hosted by QNFSP (November 2012)
Produced the opening conference video and reports that were syndicated to international broadcasters.

The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD) or RIO+20 held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (20-22 June 2012)
Produced a news report from The Gambia on the Sahel crisis which was syndicated through AP and other outlets. I also and shot and edited material for FAO's contribution to the Rio+20 conference. Our material from the Gambia punctuated Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's official address to the world at this conference.

2011
IFAD Conference on New Directions for Smallholder Agriculture held at IFAD, Rome (January 2011)
Produced videos on ICTs in East Africa which were shown at the conference and we also filmed participants at the conference and produced IFAD's video of the event.

Second Global Share Fair held at IFAD, Rome (August 2011)
A shoot in Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda for social enterprise Rural African Ventures (RAVI) in partnership with IFAD resulted in a report screened at IFAD's Share Fair 2011 and which was distributed to broadcasters. We also produced two training videos for RAVI's emerging network of entrepreneurs.

Role of ICTs as enablers for agriculture and small‐scale farmers WCCA/IAALD/AFITA at IFAD (24‐27 August)
Produced a video report for presentation at this joint conference.

The High‐Level Conference on World Food Security: The Challenges of Climate Change and Bioenergy at FAO Rome (3‐5 June 2008)
Produced material about ICTs in East Africa and market chain development for IFAD's dedicated installation at the conference. This video ran on a loop all day in a prominent position for all three days and was witnessed by the participants who had come from one hundred and eighty‐one member countries. Forty‐two Heads of State and Government also attended the event, alongside one hundred high-level Ministers and sixty non‐governmental and civil society organizations. On behalf of IFAD we also filmed material at this event for broadcast release.

2007
IFAD GCs 2006‐2015 held at IFAD, Rome
Reports that we have produced have regularly featured at IFADs annual General Council attended by World Leaders, the World's Press, national representatives and a host of international development specialists. We also regularly produced material from this global event for broadcast news both individually and by providing camera work and editing facilities for international broadcasters.

June ‐ September 2017
Production in Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and India on SRI funded by the UNDP & FAO SRI-LMB South-East Asia regional project. Two video productions in Thailand and Vietnam for FAO's NAP-Ag ‐ one general video on the programme and one on the theme of gender. Hired by FAO's communication division to produce a video about plastics pollution. Filming in the Netherlands and Corsica.

January‐February 2017
Production in India on SRI. Gathered research material from a number of locations and built network contacts with India's SRI consortium. Produced a video for California‐based Lotus Foods which they used for marketing purposes.

October‐November 2016
Produced a series of videos on NAP‐Ag (National Adaptation Planning in Agriculture) for FAO in Uganda. Videos on climate change adaptation in light of the Paris Agreement were syndicated through AP and UNTV and featured at COP22 held in Marrakech. I also produced two films for the gender department for high level meetings and broadcast.

Produced a report about FAO's work in Sierra Leone at the moment of the first major Ebola outbreak & also shot material for Cornell's SRI Rice which we edited into SRI in Sierra Leone. This was featured at EXPO 2015 in Milan where Cornell and IFAD won the award for innovation in sustainable agriculture.
This video and a previous video we had made about SRI in East Africa was used in all their associated promotional packages.
